LIFE EXPECTANCY 1981
“What does it feel like to die?” Kris was asked this question by students at school. He didn’t know how to answer. He didn’t have an answer., but was troubled by the question. They weren’t being mean. Just curious. None of his friends had been given an expiration date.
Kris faced challenges in life. He uses his story and his songs to encourage fellow challenged folks. He brings songs and stories to events, churches, schools, and organizations to share the truth that no one is helpless, hopeless or worthless.
VALUING VETERANS
Veterans have made sacrifices, many times, unappreciated, for our country. Although Kris was unable to personally serve because of his illness, he comes from a family who served in a branches of the military. At KHL, we honor and respect al military Veterans, and we bring Encouraging Entertainment to them on a regular basis. We also help coordinate the annual Tommy Franks’ Celebration of Freedom Purple Heart Celebration.
SONGS FOR SENIORS
Senior Adults, especially those in residential care, deserve the best society has to offer, yet often receive the leftovers. At KHL, we bring music and laughter into their lives. Often, we travel with a plan to bless them, and it tuns out that they bless us much more.
